Shakira at the Pyramids of Giza: Tickets for 28 November 2027

Shakira plays the Pyramids of Giza on 28 November 2027: what is known about the venue, when tickets go on sale and how to book VIP lounge seats.

Shakira at the Pyramids of Giza: Tickets for 28 November 2027

Shakira tickets in Egypt will become a search thousands of people run on the same day: on 28 November 2027 she performs at the Pyramids of Giza. A venue of that order is news in itself, and the closed areas always hold fewer seats than there is demand for. Here is what is known about the concert, how the ticket categories differ, and how to plan the trip so that an evening at the pyramids is more than a flight for three hours of music.

What is known about the concert

The show is part of the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour. The stage goes up on the Giza plateau, alongside the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure and the Great Sphinx. The format is not new for Egypt: the plateau has hosted major concerts before. Each one still stands apart, because the venue cannot be widened, moved or recreated.

  • Artist: Shakira, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour
  • Date: 28 November 2027
  • Venue: the Pyramids of Giza, Cairo, Egypt
  • Public sale opens: 1 October 2026
  • Through us: VIP tickets in lounge categories A and B, plus the trip around the show

Why the venue is half the experience

An ordinary stadium is the same in every country: a bowl, screens, lights. On the Giza plateau there is nothing to swap the backdrop for. The only surviving wonder of the ancient world stands behind the stage, desert runs off to either side, and the sound rises into open sky instead of bouncing off concrete tiers. The pyramids are lit in the evening, so by showtime the silhouettes read in full.

There is a practical side too. The plateau is a protected site with its own access regime, so entrances, parking and traffic routes work differently from a city venue. This is exactly where a local team and logistics arranged in advance save you a couple of hours and a couple of tense moments.

Tickets: general sectors and VIP lounges

At large events tickets split into general sectors and closed areas. General sectors cover the fan zone or numbered seats; they sell in volume and go in the first hours. Closed areas are far smaller: a separate entrance, their own service area, and calm access to the stage without a crush on the way in or out.

Ticket typeWhere to buyWhat to keep in mind
General sectorOfficial event operatorsSold in volume, usually gone within hours of the on-sale
VIP lounge, category AThrough us, booked in your nameUpper tier of the closed area; seating and service confirmed at booking
VIP lounge, category BThrough us, booked in your nameSecond tier of the closed area; exact seats and entrance fixed in the confirmation
The promoter publishes what each category includes separately; we pass the terms on when your booking is confirmed

For a couple or a family, the seat and an easy entrance matter most. For a partner or corporate group, what matters is seating everyone together instead of collecting people from three different sectors afterwards. That is settled at the booking stage, not at the gate on the day.

When tickets go on sale, and why to book early

The public sale opens on 1 October 2026. The gap between the on-sale and the concert is wide, which is normal at this scale: logistics, permits and build on a protected site are planned far ahead. For a buyer that is mostly good news, since there is time to assemble the trip properly rather than chase the last seats a month out.

Closed areas, though, run out first, almost always before the general sectors. Shakira fills stadiums in every city of the tour, and a show at the pyramids is awaited well beyond Egypt, from Europe to the Gulf. The practical conclusion is simple: if you want a VIP lounge, send the request before the sale opens so the booking goes in on day one.

Planning the trip to Cairo

Flights and paperwork

The main gateway is Cairo International. Many markets have both direct flights and comfortable connections through the Gulf and Turkish hubs. Egyptian entry rules change, so check them closer to the date: we confirm the current procedure at the time of booking and flag anything specific to your passport.

Where to stay

Two workable options. Hotels beside the plateau give the shortest route to the venue and a view of the pyramids from the terrace. Hotels downtown or on the Nile offer more restaurants and city life, with a longer drive to the site. We hold direct contracts in both areas and match the hotel to the group.

How many days to take

Three nights is the minimum: a day to land and see the city, the day of the concert, and a day to leave without rushing. Five to seven is comfortable, and then the concert becomes the finale of a trip rather than its only point.

What to add around the concert

November is the best month for Egypt: the heat is gone, the evenings are warm, and the plateau is comfortable even at midday. A programme worth travelling for on its own assembles easily around the date.

  • Private access to the pyramids before the plateau opens or after it closes: all three chambers of the Great Pyramid and time at its foot with no other visitors
  • The Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, a collection worth half a day of anyone’s itinerary
  • A Nile cruise from Luxor or Aswan, including a private charter or a sailing dahabiya
  • Old Cairo: Al-Muizz street, the coppersmiths, the tea houses

How to book through us

  1. Send a request: date, number of guests, preferred lounge category.
  2. We confirm availability and send the terms: what is included, deadlines, how payment works.
  3. The booking is held in your name once payment is made.
  4. You receive the tickets, and we assemble the rest of the trip if you want it: hotel, transfers, programme.

We have worked in Egypt since 2004: our own team in Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh, direct contracts with hotels and transport, permits for protected sites. A ticket from us is therefore not a standalone purchase but part of a trip that one team owns from arrival to departure.
